Aref Karim founded QCM in 1995 and is the firm’s CEO & CIO. Earlier, he spent thirteen years at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (‘ADIA’), a multi-billion dollar sovereign wealth fund. He helped pioneer ADIA’s launch of its alternative investment portfolio, the first for a sovereign fund.
